Return of the documentary following RAC patrols, heavy-vehicle recovery specialists, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Highways England, and council snowplough drivers working tirelessly to make sure the UK does not grind to a halt when bad weather arrives. As winter kicks off with Storm Angus, gale force winds and heavy rains cause floods on Britain's roads, while disaster strikes off the coast of Dover when a cargo ship smashes into another vessel and begins taking on water.
