Acclaimed musician Larry McCray is no stranger to the Argentine blues scene. His first visit to Argentina was in 1992 as a member of the band made up of the legendary bluesmen James Cotton (harmonica) and Hubert Sumlin (guitar). It was on that visit that they met local blues greats Pappo, Botafogo and Conejo Jolivet (Dulces 16, Redonditos de Ricota). The Argentine bluesmen acted as curtain raisers and then joined the visitors in an almost endless jam session all through the night.

Now as the Larry McCray Band (Steve McCray, drums; Kerry Clark, bass; Stephen Boone Jr., keyboards), they will perform all-time classics and songs from their forthcoming album, Gibson Sessions, recorded with such guests as Derek Trucks (Allman Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band), Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers), Los Lobos, and Jimmy Herring (Wide Spread Panic).
