Post Description

Een geweldige remaster van het klassieke album. Voor de liefhebber of voor als je haar nog niet kent, maar dan ben je nog geen zestig ;-)

Janis Ian is a fine lyricist and a great singer. She sums up the experiences of women in their late teens, 20'z and. Her lyrics have the sort of universality and appeal that make every woman think "this song is about ME!" And they are. Her songs were made to be personalised. "At Seventeen" is a classic, and deservedly so, and I love "In The Winter".
Not as angry as Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill", very sad at times, this is an album that was made to be listened to again and again. Every track is a gem, no "fillers" here. A classic!!
