Season 9, Episode 1: The Magician's Apprentice

The Doctor goes to save a young boy on a battlefield, but upon discovering he is creator of the Daleks, Davros, he abandons him. After this, a mysterious snake man goes across the universe looking for the Doctor. On Earth, Clara is summoned by UNIT when all the planes in the sky have frozen, and once there she is contacted by the new Master, Missy, who is still alive. She tells Clara that she has found the last will and testament of the Doctor, and they must go in search of him. Finding his location in the medieval British Isles, the Doctor has organized a large party with the inhabitants of the area. When Clara and Missy approach him the snake man appears once again, telling him that Davros has summoned the Doctor. The three go with him to a hospital ship that Davros is in. The Doctor confronts him alone, while Clara and Missy go exploring, only to discover the ship is part of an invisible planet, that when revealed is actually Skaro. They are then captured by the Daleks, who appear to kill Missy and Clara before supposedly destroying the TARDIS. Back on the battlefield, the Doctor, now holding a Dalek weapon, confronts a child Davros once again, apparently ready to kill him.
